KingAlthough never far from the Gardner Expressway's constant drone, the Keating Channel Pub & Grill is a nice hidden gem in a soon to be developed part of the Port Lands (a short walk from the Distillery District). Both the interior and exterior have more of a cottage country pub feel, especially if you happen to be enjoying a brew on the massive patio at sunset, looking out onto the channel.
The inside is huge, so it's perfect for a large party to hang out around the fireplace, watch a game on satellite, or play some pool. There's loads of free parking as well.
The beer list is the usual domestics along side some British selections (Guinness, Boddingtons, Smithwicks, etc...).
The menu has some flair with dishes like Coconut prawns, Thai sesame chicken salad, and Cajun Salmon popping up along with all the usual pub favourites.
