DownsviewIf you happen to be on the Toronto Islands, and are jonesing for a nice cold brew on a hot sunny day, then the Rectory Cafe is it. As in it's the only place you're going to find a beer (unless you cleverly brought a cooler full of cold ones with you). The Rectory is part tearoom, cafe and romantic date destination and is located nice and close to the ferry docks on Ward Island. Sit on the gorgeous back patio and enjoy either Upper Canada Lager or Upper Canada Dark on tap. A modest bottle selection is also available. If you're hungry they serve starters, sandwiches, mains, and desserts (which sounded delicious). As you might have guessed they also have a wide assortment of teas, the cheapest of which starts off at $4, this will give you an idea of the cost of everything else.
