This is a really great pub with a good atmosphere and nice crowd of locals. Great service, open and friendly staff, a great selection of draughts and a menu full of sumptious delights. It also has great music on week-ends. I would certainly recommend this pub to anyone.
Had a nice Brew and pubfare time with the lady here
A fine establishment and halal next door if you have a craving for it.
just like to say well done lads for the funraiser yous done for young pairic mckeown s family its a credit to yous .well done
Have to agree with Tjh, I am Irish and found the owner very rude. A customer started to shout at me for no reason in the bar and I could hear the owner telling him "not to mind me" that he was 100% in the right! This was my first time in the bar and only went there to meet some friends for a quiet drink. But I will never darken it's doors again! Horrible experience, no athmosphere!
Rude! It's the only word that comes to mind when I think of this bar! Best to spend your money elsewhere! Not very Irish either so if your looking for an Irish bar, do not go here!
I would have to agree with everyone else this is a great Irish pub a vast change from the scruffy hargrave where all riff rafts were allowed to drink. Getting rid of that pool table and putting up a nice stage and bringing in local live bands ever weekend was the best thing to ever happen in this end of the city. I frequent this bar every weekend and I always have an enjoyable time. Two thumbs up
Don't believe the rating, it won't let me rate it a zero. Even that is to high of a rating for this place. Used to frequent this location when it was the Hargrave and never had anything bad to say. This weekend I went with my wife and mother-in-law who was visiting from Winnipeg. We were greeted at the door by the first ass who works here. He stopped us cause I had a muscle shirt on then commented that my mother-in-law has had too much to drink when in fact she suffers with MS. Once this was pointed out to the ass at the door and I had put my shirt on that was off due to rain and walking the taste. We were then met by the second ass of the night which was the end of it for us. We order drinks and weren't even asked if we wanted menus and the drinks were brought out and our bill followed right after(basically asking us to leave) This bar is run by rude and unfriendly a-holes who with any luck will manage this bar into the ground. This was the worst experience ever for me in
Love the pub, love the crowd, love the brew selection, love the food.... beautiful Irish pub! Way to be boys!
Great place....very IRISH, great music and food and atmosphere...love the place
Brilliant place. Authentic Irish through, and through. GAA games on the tele, Irish music on the sound system, and many a pint on tap. Cheers lads, on a great pub.
This is now a great Irish pub called Seanachai, the bar staff are great & the music is out of this world...if your looking for a home from home , this is it!
